Take time to decide, but a decision you must make
posted 14th May 2023
There comes a time in people's lives when their trauma histories rise within them, forcing them to take action, whether they like it or not. Their bodies struggle to cope with the energetic disharmony and send out even more warning signs that something needs to get done to restore inner harmony. But where does that help come from, and which direction should they take? What if they get hurt even more while trying to eliminate the hurt and pain? Anyone who has experienced childhood trauma has sometimes felt stuck with indecision even though they know they need to do something about it.
It's a classic catch-22 situation where a need for action constantly headbutts the inaction.
How can the situation get rectified?
Well, a lot depends on it; a person's finances, domestic situation and support network. All these things contribute to their ability to cope with the ensuing emotional storm. But what if money is tight, family is estranged, and support is forever waiting in the wings until a place becomes available at a charity or public sector organisation? They are the ultimate barrier to reaching out for help, and nothing changes. So they get stuck at a level of stuckness where they feel isolated and have to deal with challenging thoughts and feelings alone.
The time is never right for getting the support put into place that can help you the most. So waiting it out for a little longer only exacerbates the symptoms of PTSD and makes them increasingly difficult to manage. It is funny how the suppression of needs keeps them unmet, and then when it gets to the point where the energy required to suppress is insufficient to quash them any longer.
So there you are, left to deal with something you never wanted to deal with in the first place. It becomes your friend, your constant companion that does not have your best interests at heart. Learning why the problematic emotions keep bubbling up and fizzing well into the night might not always be the solution you seek. Something much deeper drives the constant chaos, and it is at an energy level where you will find the underlying answers.
Energy is emotion, and emotions are energy.
A strange statement, would you agree? But to explain it requires a metaphor that can illuminate what is happening inside your body and mind. A rabbit bobs about in the undergrowth, foraging for morsels of food: but unbeknown to the rabbit, the food is plentiful under the surface. It tries to scrape the ground in several places and hopes for the best to find something edible enough to satisfy its hunger. Alas, it is never enough, and the rabbit tries somewhere else.
If only the rabbit could stay longer and dig a little bit deeper, it could find enough of what it is looking for sustenance. Taking that little bit longer to dig deeper is scary and makes the rabbit feel vulnerable, so it moves on. But what if the rabbit felt safe and secure, and spending more time exploring the spot where it started to dig was ok?
You would shout clearly and confidently, "Stay a while, little rabbit and keep digging because there you will find what you are looking for and need to keep you well". Should the rabbit take heed of your heartfelt words and take a risk to discover what's hidden more deeply, or should it hop on by and find another place to try and try and try? The decision is difficult to make but make it; it must.
The time for change and the time for healing go hand in hand, as one cannot exist without the other. Some people focus on the change and act accordingly to create situations to gain a sense of well-being that enriches their lives. Others move past the changes in lifestyle and progress their mind and bodies to heal what needs to be resolved at an energetic level.
You can find healing opportunities in all manner of things, from well-being practises to therapeutic support. Yet, in healing the issues linked to trauma energy stored within the body, a different outcome can get established that changes everything. How you feel about yourself, how you go on to live your life and how you become empowered to help others in a way that speaks to the essence of their needs.
A chance to heal
A new chance to heal has emerged on the horizon of hope. Energy healing can be the answer to the issues the body is struggling with time and time again, and it can provide the pathway to a route of care and support. It begins with connections and a community of women who, like you, are looking for the same thing but are unsure what it is.
Uncomplicating the complicated may seem like a challenging task to do for yourself. But with guidance, it becomes an easy process that flows with grace and tranquillity. The ease into an environment of healing energy is smooth and caring, and you are already equipped to receive such a thing with goodness and trust in yourself.
Triggering trauma memory and speaking your story is not essential here but rather a collective mindfulness that can bring forth healing of yourself and each other. It is a symbolic linking of hands, hearts and minds that doesn't involve touch. So, experiencing a collective connectedness at an energetic level is the new way to heal unresolved childhood or adult trauma.
When you are ready to explore possibilities that could make a difference in how you live your life and feel about yourself, the decision is yours. Time is on your side, and decisions are never wrong if you seek help that can alter perspectives and bring healing that creates immeasurable life chances.
